Successfully rebuffed the Government’s motion for a new trial, brought under the Maximum Recovery Rule, seeking to reduce over $26 million in damages, including over $18 million in noneconomic damages, in a catastrophic injury case brought under the Federal Tort Claims Act. The Court denied the Government’s motion in its entirety and upheld the judgment in full.
